Arizona High School Basketball - Rincon edges Cienega

(December 9, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85711) The Rincon Rangers (Tucson, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ), 70-68 in Friday's league test.

The Rangers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ). The Nighthawks go into the I Section II test with a 6-3 record.

The Bobcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tucson for a I Section II test on Thursday, December 15. Cienega will clash with a Badgers squad coming off a 58-52 non-league win over Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 2-5.
