Oregon High School Basketball - Hillsboro falls to Tigard
(February 3, 2012: Hillsboro, OR 97123) The Tigard Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Hillsboro Spartans to 52 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMinnville for a 6A Pacific contest on Tuesday, February 7. Tigard will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 57-32 league win over Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 11-7.
The Spartans (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Century ran past Newberg (Newberg, OR), 68-66, in a league contest.
