Florida High School Basketball - Gulf thwarts Westminster Academy

Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) basketball felled the host
Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL),
39-27 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (11-3) will now prepare for their test against
Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Bulldogs go into the
4A District 8 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test,
Zephyrhills went down by
Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL),
46-25, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host
Highlands Christian for a
2A District 14 test on Tuesday, January 6.
Westminster Academy will clash with a Knights squad coming off a
41-26 non-league loss to
Lake Worth Christian (Boynton Beach, FL). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
