Oregon High School Basketball - Roseburg topped by Crater
(January 13, 2012: Roseburg, OR 97470) The Crater Comets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Roseburg Indians to 41 in the Comets league victory on Friday.
The Comets now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Eagle Point for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Crater will meet a Eagles team coming off a 39-26 non-league loss to Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 2-11.
The Indians (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen come into the 6A Southern Oregon contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Grants Pass beat North Medford (Medford, OR), 70-69, in a league contest.
