(October 12, 2007: Harrodsburg, KY 40330) In Friday's non-league game, the Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY) football squad were winner over the visiting Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), by a count of 34-17.

The Titans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host South Laurel for a 5A District 7 contest on Friday, October 19. Mercer County will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 31-14 non-league win over Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-4.

Coming up next, the Rebels encounter the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a 4A District 6 contest, on Friday, October 19. Boyle County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 44-28 non-league win over Madison Southern (Berea, KY).
