California High School Basketball - Pilibos tipped by AGBU

(February 6, 2012: Pasadena, CA 91104) In Monday's league match, the host AGBU Spartans basketball team scored a tight 51-50 victory over the Pilibos Eagles.

With the victory, AGBU improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to San Gabriel Academy (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Eagles in a Westside challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. San Gabriel Academy won 80-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Torah (Valley Village, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the New Community Jewish Jaguars (West Hills, CA) in a Westside challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Pilibos will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 49-41 league loss to AGBU (Pasadena, CA).
