Alabama High School Basketball - Evangel Christian Academy crushes Tuscaloosa Academy

(December 16, 2011: Montgomery, AL 36106) Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL), 50-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Evangel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 12-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Patrician Academy Saints (Butler, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Tuscaloosa Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to Southern Academy (Greensboro, AL).
