California High School Basketball - Piedmont Hills over Leigh

(January 5, 2012: San Jose, CA 95124) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) and the host Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), saw Piedmont Hills's basketball squad knock off Leigh by a score of 49-30.

With the victory, Piedmont Hills improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a Mount Hamilton challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Mt. Pleasant lost 47-32 in their recent league test against Pioneer (San Jose, CA)

The Longhorns now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer for a Mount Hamilton test on Tuesday, January 10. Leigh will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 47-32 league win over Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.
