(January 27, 2012: Stanfield, OR 97875) Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR), 41-24 in a league bout.
With the victory, Stanfield upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR) to play the Knights in a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Saturday, January 28. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 11-5. Irrigon won 52-45 in their recent league bout against Union (Union, OR)
Next up, the Huskies play the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain bout, on Saturday, January 28. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 52-45 league loss to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR).
