(August 19, 2011: Garden City, GA 31408) In Friday's league game, the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) football team knocked off the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), by a final score of 13-0.

The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their game against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.

The Bluejackets now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden County for a AAAAA Region 3 game on Friday, August 26.
