Ohio High School Football - Calvert topples St. Joseph Central Catholic
(September 22, 2007: Fremont, OH 43420) The Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) football defeated the host St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH), 20-10 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Senecas face the Mohawk Warriors (Sycamore, OH) in a Midland bout, on Friday, September 28. Calvert will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 48-7 league win over St. Wendelin (Fostoria, OH).
The Crimson Streaks now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Baltimore for a Midland challenge on Friday, September 28. St. Joseph Central Catholic will meet a Tigers team coming off a 47-12 league loss to Carey (Carey, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
