With the victory, DeSoto Central improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region 1 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Horn Lake won 65-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Hernando (Hernando, MS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) in a 5A Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Center Hill will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 65-54 non-league loss to Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS).
