Missouri High School Basketball - Lindbergh holds off Marquette

(January 6, 2012: St. Louis, MO 63126) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO), saw Lindbergh's basketball squad hold off Marquette by a count of 54-50.

With the victory, Lindbergh upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Flyers host Northwest (House Springs, MO) to play the Lions in a Suburban - West challenge on Sunday, January 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Northwest lost 52-47 in their recent league challenge against Fox (Arnold, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) in a Suburban - West challenge, on Friday, January 13. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 58-37 league win over Mehlville (St. Louis, MO).
