(December 9, 2011: Clear Fork, WV 24822) In Friday's league outing, the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) basketball squad edged the visiting Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), by a count of 61-58.
The Renegades (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Independence nipped Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV), 66-63, in a league outing.
The Red Devils now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Braxton County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 14. Oak Hill will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
