(October 7, 2011: Grand Forks, ND 58201) The Red River Roughriders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Larimore Polar Bears to 0 in the Roughriders non-league victory on Friday.
The Roughriders now have a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kindred for a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. Red River will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Vikings record now stands at 27-3.
The Polar Bears (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Firebirds enter the non-league game with a 4-19 record. In their last game, Devils Lake dropped by Larimore (Larimore, ND), 2-0, in a non-league game.
