Oregon High School Basketball - Coquille overwhelms Gold Beach
(February 7, 2012: Coquille, OR 97423) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) and the visiting Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR), saw Coquille's basketball squad trounce Gold Beach by a score of 60-30.
With the victory, Coquille improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Reedsport (Reedsport, OR) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Reedsport lost 35-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
Next up, the Panthers battle the Bandon Tigers (Bandon, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Gold Beach will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 47-40 league loss to Glide (Glide, OR).
