Georgia High School Football - Rutland knocked off by Callaway

(September 28, 2007: Hogansville, GA 30230) Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA), 42-23 in a league test.

With the triumph, Callaway improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to confront the Pirates in a 5-AA test on Friday, October 5. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-2. Pike County won 31-19 in their recent league test against Crawford County (Roberta, GA)

With the loss, Rutland drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Lamar County (Barnesville, GA) to confront the Trojans in a 5-AA test on Friday, October 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-4. Lamar County lost 49-0 in their recent league test against Macon County (Montezuma, GA)
