With the victory, Nixon-Smiley improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mavericks play the Providence Provets (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 22. Pearsall will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Provets go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX).
