Texas High School Basketball - Skyline overwhelms Lake Highlands

(November 29, 2011: Dallas, TX 75227) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX) and the visiting Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), saw Skyline's basketball squad trounce Lake Highlands by a count of 72-19.

With the victory, Skyline upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host White (Dallas, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. White lost 63-40 in their recent league challenge against Richardson (Richardson, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Lake Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 75-53 non-league loss to Plano (Plano, TX).
