Ohio High School Basketball - LaBrae falls to Pymatuning Valley

(January 30, 2012: Andover, OH 44003) The Pymatuning Valley Lakers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting LaBrae Vikings to 40 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lakers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mathews for a Northeastern Athletic contest on Thursday, February 2. Pymatuning Valley will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 48-40 league loss to Maplewood (Cortland, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-13.

The Vikings (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH). The Tigers enter the All-American - Blue contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Newton Falls ran past Brookfield (Brookfield, OH), 42-30, in a non-league contest.
