Oregon High School Basketball - Grants Pass falls to Roseburg
(January 17, 2012: Roseburg, OR 97470) The Roseburg Indians basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen to 39 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Medford for a 6A Southern Oregon contest on Friday, January 20. Roseburg will confront a Panthers team coming off a 52-47 league win over North Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 13-2.
The Cavemen (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets enter the 6A Southern Oregon contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Crater lost by Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR), 60-44, in a non-league contest.
