(October 4, 2011: Burbank, CA 91501) Bellarmine-Jefferson Guards (Burbank, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Guards clash with the Fairmont Prep Huskies (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 6. Bellarmine-Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Connelly (Anaheim, CA).
The Valiants (4-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA). The Belles enter the Santa Cruz game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, St. Mary's Academy dropped by St. Matthias (Downey, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
