Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Milton Braintree

(September 16, 2011: Milton, MA 02186) The Milton Wildcats volleyball team (Milton, MA), went down 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA)

The Wamps (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA). The Rocketeers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, North Attleborough defeated King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Natick The Red and Blue (Natick, MA) in a Bay State - Herget challenge, on Monday, September 19. Milton will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.

Scoring Summary

: Milton dominated the match played at home but could not hang on for the win. The team was led by Sam Curley who posted 16 kills, as well as 8 service points. She was supported at the net by team mate OH Caitlin Griffin who had 9 kills and 10 service points. Ellie Taber set another flawless game with 40 assists. The back court was ruled by Liebero Kate Krauss who posted 20 digs and only 3 errors plus 20 serve receives with the help of RB Morgan Askins who had 16 serve receives and 11 digs.
