Virginia High School Football - Hampton routs Gloucester
(October 6, 2011: Hampton, VA 23669) The Hampton Crabbers football team scored 42 points and held the visiting Gloucester Dukes to 3 in the Crabbers league triumph on Thursday.
The Crabbers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Warwick (Newport News, VA). The Raiders come into the AAA Peninsula challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Warwick trounced Denbigh (Newport News, VA), 55-0, in a league challenge.
The Dukes now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Woodside for a AAA Peninsula challenge on Friday, October 14. Gloucester will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 16-15 league win over Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-0.
