Arizona High School Football - Pinnacle nipped by Desert Mountain

(October 21, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85259) The Desert Mountain Wolves held off the visiting Pinnacle Pioneers football team by a count of 35-28 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Wolves travel to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Eagles in a I Section III bout on Friday, October 28. The Eagles enter the bout with a record of 3-6. O'Connor lost 55-14 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Peoria, AZ)

The Pioneers (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Broncos enter the I Section III bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Brophy College Prep nudged Westwood (Mesa, AZ), 42-15, in a league bout.
