Pennsylvania High School Basketball - DuBois Central Catholic falls to Bishop McCort

(January 31, 2009: Johnstown, PA 15905) The Bishop McCort Crushers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals to 34 in the Crushers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crushers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset for a Laurel Highlands 2 contest on Wednesday, February 4. Bishop McCort will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-5.

The Cardinals (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brookville (Brookville, PA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Brookville lost by Clearfield (Clearfield, PA), 68-46, in a league contest.
