Missouri High School Basketball - Helias over Eldon

(February 3, 2012: Jefferson City, MO 65109) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) and the visiting Eldon Mustangs (Eldon, MO), saw Helias's basketball squad knock off Eldon by a score of 62-50.

With the victory, Helias improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-10.

The Mustangs now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blair Oaks for a Freelance test on Tuesday, February 7. Eldon will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 9-4.
