North Carolina High School Basketball - Charlotte Catholic nudges Berry Tech

(February 10, 2009: Charlotte, NC 28208) In Tuesday's league outing, the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad edged the host Berry Tech Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 44-41.

The Cougars (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Waddell (Charlotte, NC). The Raiders go into the Queen City outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Waddell was tipped by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 57-46, in a league outing.

The Cardinal now hold a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harding University for a Queen City outing on Friday, February 13. Berry Tech will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 73-35 league win over Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 16-7.
