Washington High School Basketball - Chief Sealth can't hold off Franklin
(January 10, 2012: Seattle, WA 98144) The Franklin Quakers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Chief Sealth Seahawks to 65 in the Quakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Quakers now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rainier Beach for a 3A Metro contest on Friday, January 13. Franklin will meet a Vikings team coming off a 81-36 league win over Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 12-0.
The Seahawks (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA). The Panthers come into the 3A Metro contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Seattle Prep edged West Seattle (Seattle, WA), 67-42, in a league contest.
