Arizona High School Baseball - Pinnacle sneaks past North Canyon

(April 19, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85050) Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), saw Pinnacle's baseball squad edge North Canyon by a margin of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Pioneers play the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A Desert Valley battle, on Wednesday, April 20. Pinnacle will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 12-10 record after their 10-0 league win over St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ).

The Rattlers now sport a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Chaparral for a 5A Desert Valley battle on Thursday, April 21. North Canyon will play a Firebirds squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds record now stands at 17-6.
