Oregon High School Basketball - Central Linn can't hold off Western Mennonite
(January 30, 2012: Salem, OR 97304) The Central Linn Cobras basketball squad (Halsey, OR), was tipped 49-47 in Monday's league outing with the host Western Mennonite Pioneers (Salem, OR)
The Pioneers (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Eagles go into the 2A Tri-River outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, East Linn Christian Academy was tipped by Santiam (Mill City, OR), 43-27, in a league outing.
The Cobras now hold a 1-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santiam for a 2A Tri-River outing on Wednesday, February 1. Central Linn will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 43-27 league win over East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-4.
