Texas High School Basketball - Van topped by Ford

(January 24, 2012: Quinlan, TX 75474) The Ford Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Van Vandals to 45 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-13 record. They play next when they travel to Wills Point for a 3A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 27. Ford will meet a Tigers team coming off a 77-34 league loss to Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-20.

The Vandals (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region II District 14 contest with a 11-15 record.
