California High School Basketball - Hillcrest Christian topped by Faith Baptist
(January 24, 2012: Granada Hills, CA 91344) The Faith Baptist Contenders basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Hillcrest Christian Eagles to 40 in the Contenders league victory on Tuesday.
The Contenders now sport a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Pacifica Christian for a Heritage contest on Wednesday, January 25. Faith Baptist will meet a Seawolves team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Seawolves record now stands at 8-9.
The Eagles (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Milken (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the Heritage contest with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Milken overcame Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA), 63-45, in a league match.
