Texas High School Basketball - Hirschi prevails Iowa Park

(November 26, 2011: Iowa Park, TX 76367) Hirschi Huskies (Wichita Falls, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX), 51-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hirschi upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Quanah (Quanah, TX) to encounter the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Quanah lost 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Childress (Childress, TX)

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Iowa Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 49-30 non-league win over Muenster (Muenster, TX).
