(December 30, 2011: Houston, TX 77433) The Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) basketball defeated the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), 58-40 in Friday's league contest.

The Eagles now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cy-Ridge for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Cypress Falls will meet a Rams team coming off a 47-39 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Rams record now stands at 6-11.

The Mustangs (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats enter the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Cy-Fair was defeated by Cy-Woods (Cypress, TX), 71-49, in a league contest.
