(December 6, 2011: San Jose, CA 95132) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) and the visiting South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA), saw Piedmont Hills's basketball squad trounce South San Francisco by a score of 58-29.

With the victory, Piedmont Hills improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Gunn won 40-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Watsonville (Watsonville, CA)

Next up, the Warriors battle the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. South San Francisco will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 63-34 non-league loss to King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA).
