Connecticut High School Football - Bethel succumbs to Weston

(October 14, 2011: Bethel, CT 06801) The Weston Trojans thwarted the host Bethel Wildcats football squad by a tally of 30-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a Southwest bout, on Saturday, October 22. Weston will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 28-14 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons enter the Southwest bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Barlow defeated Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 48-12, in a league bout.
