(December 6, 2011: Mesquite, TX 75149) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) and the visiting Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), saw West Mesquite's basketball squad knock off Lancaster by a score of 65-54.
With the victory, West Mesquite improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wranglers host Ennis (Ennis, TX) to battle the Lions in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Ennis won 55-42 in their recent league challenge against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX)
Next up, the Tigers battle the Lincoln Tigers (Dallas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Lancaster will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 65-51 non-league win over Westbury Christian (Houston, TX).
