California High School Basketball - Elsinore fells Cathedral
(January 3, 2012: Wildomar, CA 92595) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elsinore Tigers (Wildomar, CA) and the visiting Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA), saw Elsinore's basketball squad overcome Cathedral by a count of 79-66.
With the victory, Elsinore upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA) to play the Lancers in a Sunbelt challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
Next up, the Phantoms play the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Cathedral will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Palmdale (Palmdale, CA).
