Michigan High School Basketball - Truman can't hold off Kennedy

(January 20, 2012: Taylor, MI 48180) The Kennedy Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Truman Cougars to 50 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Downriver contest on Tuesday, January 24. Kennedy will meet a Bears team coming off a 52-41 league loss to Melvindale (Melvindale, MI). The Bears record now stands at 4-5.

The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson (Southgate, MI). The Titans go into the Downriver bout with a 3-6 record. In their last bout, Anderson was edged by Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI), 56-47, in a league bout.
