Texas High School Basketball - Crockett ripped by Austin LBJ

(January 27, 2012: Austin, TX 78724) The Austin LBJ Jaguars basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Crockett Cougars to 22 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCallum for a 4A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Austin LBJ will meet a Knights team coming off a 43-36 league loss to Crockett (Austin, TX). The Knights record now stands at 3-18.

The Cougars (7-22) will now prepare for their contest against Reagan (Austin, TX). The Raiders enter the 4A Region IV District 26 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Reagan trounced Eastside Memorial (Austin, TX), 36-18, in a non-league contest.
