(January 23, 2009: New Port Richey, FL 34655) The Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL) basketball crushed the host Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), 69-33 in Friday's league test.

The Gryphons (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record.

The Mustangs now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pasco for a non-league test on Monday, January 26. Mitchell will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 80-55 league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 2-16.
