Minnesota High School Basketball - Esko topples Hermantown
(December 17, 2011: Esko, MN 55733) In Saturday's non-league outing, the Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN), by a count of 44-34.
The Eskomos (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Carlton (Carlton, MN). The Bulldogs go into the Polar outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Carlton was topped by Lakeview Christian Academy (Duluth, MN), 67-56, in a non-league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cloquet for a Lake Superior outing on Tuesday, December 20. Hermantown will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 57-20 non-league win over Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 2-8.
