New York High School Basketball - Riverside ripped by East

(February 4, 2008: Buffalo, NY 14211) The East Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Riverside Frontiers to 36 in the Panthers league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host City Honors for a Section 6 Buffalo contest on Wednesday, February 6. East will meet a Centaurs team coming off a 54-35 league win over Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts (Buffalo, NY). The Centaurs record now stands at 8-3.

The Frontiers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bennett (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers enter the Section 6 Buffalo contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Bennett trounced Burgard Vo-Tech (Buffalo, NY), 54-46, in a league bout.
