(November 2, 2007: Barnesville, GA 30204) The Lamar County Trojans football team (Barnesville, GA), was beaten 35-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA)

The Blue Devils (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutland (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes come into the 5-AA challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Rutland achieved victory over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA), 37-21, in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heard County for a 5-AA challenge on Friday, November 9. Lamar County will meet a Braves team coming off a 37-20 league win over Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Braves record now stands at 6-3.
