Florida High School Softball - Gulf bounces Nature Coast Tech

(February 24, 2009: New Port Richey, FL 34652) Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) and the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), witnessed Gulf's softball squad tip Nature Coast Tech by a count of 5-1.

The Buccaneers now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sunlake for a 4A District 8 match on Friday, February 27. Gulf will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 12-6 league loss to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-3.
