(January 17, 2012: Medford, OR 97401) South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), 95-51 in a league bout.
With the victory, South Medford upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Roseburg (Roseburg, OR) to play the Indians in a 6A Southern Oregon bout on Friday, January 20. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Roseburg lost 49-45 in their recent league bout against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR)
Next up, the Black Tornado play the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a 6A Southern Oregon bout, on Tuesday, January 24. North Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 72-30 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
