The Porcupines (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Bearcats go into the 4A Region I District 5 outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Aledo notched a victory over Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 57-39, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Bears play the Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Brewer will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 39-37 league loss to Azle (Azle, TX).
