California High School Basketball - Keppel edges Montebello
(January 20, 2012: Montebello, CA 90640) The Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) basketball nipped the host Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), 62-57 in Friday's league test.
The Aztecs (13-8) will now prepare for their test against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Matadors go into the Almont test with a 3-13 record.
The Oilers now own a 6-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schurr for a Almont test on Tuesday, January 24. Montebello will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 58-52 league win over Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-13.
