(March 18, 2010: Wellston, MO 63133) Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Eskridge Trojans (Wellston, MO), 69-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bernie upgrades its record to 25-4 on the season. The Mules travel to Sturgeon (Sturgeon, MO) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 31-0. Sturgeon won 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Clever (Clever, MO)

Next up, the Trojans encounter the Clever Blue Jays (Clever, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 19. Eskridge will attempt to upgrade on its 18-11 season record. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a 24-8 record after their 61-50 non-league loss to Sturgeon (Sturgeon, MO).
